Who we are
Together, as Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham, we will passionately live and share the radical transformation and holistic peace of Jesus Christ through relationship-based neighbourhood engagement. To move us forward, we will develop a culture of calling and equipping disciples who are innovative, adaptable, and fearless.
Our mission is based on Isaiah 61:1 & Jer. 1:10 The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”
Our aim is to make an impact to become a light tower for the nations. We are atmosphere changers. Our plan is to let the world know that the church is not a building but a reflection of who Jesus Christ is.
We are in this city to present the Gospel to the lost, Disciple Nations, Feed the hungry, Cloth the poor, Minister to the elderly and Widows and orphans.
