In our Women’s Ministry, ladies connect on a deeper level. As women discover greater intimacy in their relationships with God and each other, they experience the delight of life-giving friendship. Women’s Ministry provide grace and encouragement for every age and stage of life.
Men's Ministry
God never intended for man to live in isolation. In a Men’s Ministry, guys find clarity of purpose and an encouraging community. No matter what stage of life you’re in, a Men’s Ministry will renew your hunger for God and help you leave a legacy.
Youth Ministry
Leading the next generation of leaders has always been at the heart Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham. The ability to speak to our young people in a way that provides clarity and focus on their purpose in God is a priority for us.
Intercessors Ministry

Evangelism Team
The ministry of evangelism is designed primarily to win or revive personal commitment to Jesus Christ with all persons through the development, promotion, and support of all forms and phases of evangelism through the local community and among the present membership of the church; to promote church growth, worship, and celebration, the practice of prayer, and the use of music in praise of God, the reading of the Bible in public and in private; and to bring the membership to an understanding of the meaning of Christian stewardship and its application to his/her life, including the use of time, influence, personal abilities, and material resources. At the core of its function, evangelism is intended to be the greatest portion of ministry within the church, requiring the greatest number of participants to bring the type of change and impact we hope to see in the lives of those we touch. .
Worship Ministry
The goal of the Worship Ministries is to lead and assist the congregation of Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham in structured corporate worship during all services and other events, and to encourage them towards and model for them a lifestyle of sincere worship that is consistent every day of the week.
Event Team Ministry
The mission of the Events Team Ministry is to be the essential and creative instruments, used by God, to transform the ordinary to extraordinary and we will serve Christ through the planning, promoting and execution of Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham events.
This ministry will align with the church’s mission and vision in creating memorable events by being creative and resourceful; all in a spirit of excellence.
Media Team
Primary responsibilities of our Media Team include overseeing media and technical aspects of worship services, producing and editing video, ensuring a stellar online worship broadcast, creating strong still and motion graphics for church communications, and managing updates on all digital media platforms.

Each ministry is unique, but most involve food, real talk, and learning to follow Jesus together.
Many Groups study the Bible together, and even that can look different in different seasons. Some read devotionals or Bible studies. Others listen to sermons or watch video Bible studies. Your mnistry might also pray together or serve people in your community. Either way, you’ll be building an authentic community and friendship as you pursue God together.
Most ministries meet in homes, the church building or online. We’ll do our best to find a ministry that meets in a location that best suits you.
Ministries meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some meet every week, some meet every other week, and some meet once a month.
