Fear Not, The Lord Is Here

Psalms 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Life here in Birmingham, like anywhere, can throw curveballs that make our hearts flutter with apprehension. We're human, and fear is a very natural response to the unknown or the challenging.

But our Scripture today from Psalm 27:1 offers us a profound antidote to these fears, both great and small. David, a man who faced lions, giants, and betrayal, declares with utter conviction, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"
