Terms
Terms of service
The terms for using the Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham website and member area.
About these terms
This website and member area are provided by Powerhouse Ministries Birmingham. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
- Use the site lawfully and respectfully, and do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or harmful to others.
- Do not use information from the site, including any church directory, for marketing or for any purpose other than church life.
Member accounts
Some areas require an account. Accounts are for a named individual, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account. We may suspend or remove access where these terms are broken or where there is a safeguarding concern.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as prayer requests, testimonies, messages and photographs. By submitting it you give us permission to use it for the church purpose it was submitted for. Content shared with the church may be moderated or removed at our discretion.
Giving and payments
Where the site accepts giving, event tickets or other payments, these are processed by third-party payment providers. Gifts to the church are voluntary. If you believe a payment has been taken in error, contact us and we will look into it.
Social media publishing
Church leaders may publish church content from this platform to the church's own Facebook Page and Instagram business account. Once published, that content is also subject to Meta's terms. Publishing within the member area does not automatically post to Facebook or Instagram.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the site available and its information accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every detail — such as a service or event time — is always current. Please contact the church office if something looks wrong.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and our data deletion instructions explain how to have information removed.
Contact and changes
We may update these terms; the version published here is the current one. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@pmibirmingham.com.
